Trouble-free day for Toro Rosso at Monza

By on

Some big numbers reflect a trouble free day for Scuderia Toro Rosso and a lot of track time for Sebastian Vettel. The German driver completed 101 laps, equivalent to around two grands prix distances and almost 600 kilometres.

The STR2 ran reliably all day and although there was the occasional rain shower, there was never a need for wet weather tyres. On the agenda again today was evaluation of aerodynamic downforce levels for the Italian Grand Prix, with a new front and rear wing undergoing testing.

Tonio Liuzzi takes over behind the wheel tomorrow.
