As 2008 is just around the corner, we will introduce to you the new faces that will enter F1 next season. The first one is Kazuki Nakajima, who already raced during the final GP of 2007 at Brazil. Nakajima will start his first complete F1 season with Williams in 2008.

Kazuki Nakajima was born on 11 January 1985 in Aichi, Japan. He is the son of former F1 driver Satoru Nakajima. Kazuki started his motor racing career in 1996, when he started Karting. Three years later, the youngster was crowned as Suzuka Formula ICA karting champion. After this victory, Nakajima was contracted by Toyota as part of their Young Drivers Program.

In 2002, Kazuki won the Formula Toyota title and progressed into the Japanese Formula 3. He moved to the Formula Three Euroseries in 2006 and competed against Sebastian Vettel, who will be one of his rivals next season in F1.

Kazuki was announced as the 2007 test- and reserve driver for the Williams F1 team. He also signed a contract to race in GP2 during the 2007 season for the DAMS Team.

As Alexander Wurz announced his immediate retirement in October 2007, Nakajima took his place during the final race of the season: the Brazilian Grand Prix. The youngster finished the race in 10th place. On 7 November 2007, Williams confirmed Kazuki Nakajima as team mate of Nico Rosberg for the 2008 season.
