Mosley happy with stewards revamp

Max Mosley, the President of the FIA, believes that the stewards revamp should prevent the post-race controversies that emerged last year. Last week, the FIA decided not to replace Tony-Scott Andrews but to opt for three officials, that will be chosen from nationalities that are totally neutral, who will be assisted by FIA delegate Alan Donnelly.

Mosley said: "The idea is that he (Donnelly) will be non-voting. There will be three stewards that vote but Alan's job will be first of all to make an interface between them and the race control and the press and so on.

"Secondly, it will be to try and keep some sort of momentum so that we get the decisions quickly. There is no excuse for taking as long as it has."
