Lewis Hamilton, Heikki Kovalainen, Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffett spent the day together at the McLaren Technology centre, Woking, on Wednesday as part of their preparation for the 2008 Formula 1 season.

The day started with an early engineering meeting; this gave the engineers and all four drivers the opportunity to discuss how testing had gone so far. They were also debriefed on the new developments planned for the MP4-23 in the run up to the Australian Grand Prix.

Heikki also got an opportunity to witness the race team practising pit stops, “The team are so dedicated. It was really interesting for me to see them practising a pit stop.”

With their racing commitments fulfilled for the day the drivers then spent some time with the McLaren Marketing team. This included a photoshoot involving all four drivers, as well as individual shots for Partner use throughout the year.
