Barrichello and Button round-up Barcelona test for Honda

Rubens Barrichello rejoined the team’s Barcelona test today for the final day of running alongside team-mate Jenson Button. This morning, in a continuation of his day one programme, Rubens evaluated various set-up options and completed 45 laps. Jenson’s programme was based around some chassis set-up work over longer runs and he covered 52 laps during the morning session.

A mid-afternoon downpour cut short their dry running programmes, however the wet conditions enabled the team to gather some useful data as both drivers ran the car for the first time in cold and damp conditions without traction control. Rubens completed a total of 84 laps while Jenson covered 86 laps.

The team’s pre-season testing programme will now move to Jerez on 12-13-14 February.
