Nico Rosberg was again at the wheel for Williams as the team prepared for the British Grand Prix. Today, there were no problems with the car and Williams were able to complete the planned schedule, despite having trouble to cope with the windy conditions.

Nico Rosberg: “It was a very important test for us after our experience at Magny-Cours. We put a great deal of effort into understanding what happened in France, and ran through quite an extensive test programme over the three days. We managed to work through a lot of items and have come away with a good understanding of some crucial elements which will help us going into the short and medium terms. Overall, it was a very useful test. Looking forward to the race at Silverstone, it’ll be very tight as usual because the top six places are always taken, but we will go out there and do our best.”

Sam Michael, Technical Director: “This week at Silverstone we worked on different mechanical and aerodynamic set-ups, initially with Nico and then with Kazuki. Although it was quite windy, the weather was generally good over the three days. We managed to cover the majority of our test programme in preparation for the Grand Prix here.”
