Vettel is overrated. Don´t get me wrong, he´s a fantastic driver no doubt.
But on the same level as Alonso and Hamilton? No chance. In any department.
Prior to 2012, Vettel outqualified Webber, known throughout his career as a very good qualifier, 43:12 (16+13+14:3+6+3), or 72.9%.
Prior to 2012, Alonso outqualified Massa 30:8 (15+15:4+4), or 73.3%.
In 2008 and 2009, Hamilton outqualified Kovalainen 26:9 (14+12:4+5), or 65.4%.

Whatever point you were trying to make, is very moot.

The Msian GP was very bad for Vettel mainly because the radio was not working when he needed communication the most on weather, other drivers and strategy. That said, Webber also had the same issue.
I'm willing to give Vettel a benefit of a doubt for now since I'm a supporter. Lets see how fare he is in China.
