Minardi on old tyres

Post

At first it might seem a little weird, but it has been double checked... due to the late agreement between Minardi and Bridgestone, the Faenza based team has been using last year's Bridgestone Potenza, and will be using these tyres for the next couple of races.
It is expected that Minardi will be able to use 2003 spec Potenza's from when F1 is going to Europe, Imola, or one Grand Prix after that.
Insiders whisper the new tyres are around 0.5 seconds quicker per lap than last year's. It might cost Minardi some points not being able to use the very best of Bridgestone.

Any update on this? Are they getting the new tires for Imola?
