the car steered only to the right and ALO made no attempt to steer left (latest AMUS: no input to steer left was picked up by torque sensors in the steering that even with locked steering should have picked it up)), so two option remain on purpose or unconscious/ unable to act before crash...

I believe Windsor (he knows app. reasons) and maybe also BBC guy...

definitely not by caused by wind this drama.
not steering could be explained by letting go of the wheel and bracing for impact knowing the crash was unavoidable

yep, but before you would have tried to correct to the left... and that would have showed in the data and does not
letting go with a locked steering is possible but I at least would have tried..

look what my friend MAL does there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf0wz8ObcSo

steering with both hands to the left till impact

Fernando trying to steer left wouldn't necessarily show up in the data. Depends where the torque sensor is in relation to the supposed siezure in the steering system. If the sensor is upsteam (nearer to the driver) from the siezure then you would see it. If its downstrem you won't.

Hmm this one might not last as long as the kubica thread... But some blue fuzzy stuff is growing on the corners....

It's like Marx brothers movie: they sedate him, then they see him unconscious - must be serious let's sedate him, then why he's unconcious for too long, that's not normal, let's keep him longer for observation.

It's not some normal accident:
1. It's Alonso, best and most marketable F1 driver
2. It has:
- concussion
- sideways barrier impact
- loss of conscience ??
- memory loss ??
- extended hospital stay
- missed one race, uncertainty for the second one
- multiple changes of versions of events by McLaren

Yet after months there are no conclusions and no comment from FIA, zero, nothing. Yes it's really stupid of him to ask a simple question about FIA's investigation about it.

Are you saying that he had a conscience before the accident?

Blimey, just move on. I bet even Alonso has stopped caring now.
