Well historically the Dutch GP always took place relatively early in the season so if they aim for April /early May rain will be likely and that would make the track very suitable^^. More seriously though, some modification is definitely required but is overtaking really a no-go with a widened Tarzan and the current Hugenholtz kink?

That looks like it will be difficult to overtake. There's no obvious overtaking place on the lap. Maybe T11 but that's about it.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

In a touring car T11 is a possibility, if they keep it like it is now. The turn in for the first part you have to sacrifice speed to have a perfect exit from the second part, what gives you a possibility when you do the opposite (brake later and sharper into 1, then slower out of 2). But for cars with downforce, they brake so late and so far into the corner that that doesn’t work.

Maybe a few attempts at Tarzan (first 180 after the main straight), but that’s it.

They want to bank t14 so you can drive it with DRS open. Hoping the main straight will give overtaking opportunities.

Pirelli as afraid of tire loading in a banked corner, like Michelin in 2005 USA.

Wasn't that a very high speed corner? Here they are still accelerating throughout the corner?

The trick is to set up your car for Kumo (T13) and manage the rest of the track. F1 probably will do it flat out with lots of downforce.

No tarmac run offs.

Also, if the driver's don't want them, who actually wants the tarmac run offs?

I assume it is there for amateur racing teams like GT3, that don't have the budget for repairs?

1 Million Dutch pre-subscribers to buy tickets to Zandvoort 2020....
pre-sales is closed. Tickets will be allocated this evening.

....suppose/pray there still will be tickets for other fans from other countries?

Otherwise grab hold of Max sponsor Jumbo. They will have an event giving out free 'Dune-tickets' to the race.

I saw the Blancpain Race a few days ago. If it is already difficult to overtake with GT3 cars, i predict this race will be even more boring than Monaco.
