If a person has a narrow minded view about what F1 should be then they will be left disappointed year after year as they can only find fault with the sport.
Some things has to be allowed that is currently not.
1 Venturi tunnels
2 Active suspension
3 Qualification tyres
4 Refueling

What in refueling would return F1 to the pinnacle?
Qually tires??? Oh yeah that would push it back to the top.

I never really liked the concept of a "saturday car" and a "sunday car". Instead of allowing qually tires, I would prefer to eliminate refueling after the start of Q3. To keep it interesting, perhaps parc ferme shouldn't start until the start of Q3. Do what you want in Q1 and Q2, but once you leave the pit box for Q3, you're not allowed back in without scrutineering.

Active aero would be nice but only if driver controlled both wings if possible like a permanent drs let them chose.

ill raise and replace number 3 with:

3. QUALITY tires. not built to crumble.
6. no mandatory tire compound change. BUT a mandatory tire change/fuel stop.
7. no fuel flow limiter.
8. no REV limit.
9. ground effects.
10. blown floor.
11. blown wheel hubs.
12. active DRS.

You will die before your wish list is realised, so why get all upset about it? Just accept F1 as it is.

Adding to these.
*Raise the race distance to 600km not 300km.
*Up to four cars per team so that top drivers can race for the same team.
*Only two cars nominated by the team each race is eligible for WCC points.
*Make it one engine per race.
*Get to the finish as quickly as you can.

i like where you're going.

1 engine per race imho is excessive though, i think 1 engine for 4 races is a good thing.

I wouldn't double race distance, that's gonna be too much physically for driver and car, but upping it from 300 to 350 or 375 would be interesting. Obviously, engine count must be upped accordingly.

3 cars for each team, and for those who can't afford a third, they can BUY one from another team, but the points scored with this car will be shared, driver points will remain the same unshared, but team points will be 50/50, 50% for the team that bought/leans the car, 50% for the manufacturer that leases/sells the car. car will be in the colours/livery of the team that buys/hires the car, and engine must be the same as the team's own contracted brand.
In other words; if HAAS needs 3 cars, but can only afford 2, they can 'lease' a Ferrari from 2017 equipped with a Halo, and have current or last year's (2017) Ferrari engine. each point scored with this car will be 50% HAAS 50% FERRARI.
They can also opt to buy a Force India chassis, but they can't run a Merc engine so they must fit a Ferrari. That might be too expensive, hence they'd probably opt for a Ferrari/Sauber chassis.

The biggest problem with three cars per team is, of if you look back to '14-'16, how fast would you walk away from F1 if there were 3 Mercedes drivers on the podium every race? (not even mentioning the implications of no limits on the PU, this would destroy the sport within a race)

TL;DR:
"Formula one is not good because it isn't they way I think it should be"

A million people will have a million different ideas of what F1 should be, if you're not happy with how it is, don't watch it.

There should be a section of the forum just for this kind of thread, and another one for "Formula one is crap and will never be as good as it was in the past, but still I watch it every weekend".
Or the "If you want real racing watch BTCC/MotoGP" posters/threads. They could be offloaded there, too. [-o<

3. QUALITY tires. not built to crumble.
Like we have this year?
6. no mandatory tire compound change. BUT a mandatory tire change/fuel stop.
Won't change much considering drivers either make 1 or 2 stops already and staying on the same tire generally means they'd need to make an extra stop. Or, spare the tires, which considering your point 3, is something you do not want.
7. no fuel flow limiter.
Why? What would that ever solve?
8. no REV limit.
Won't change much as the PU is most efficient around 11.000rpm
9. ground effects.
Already have those
10. blown floor.
So we can let most of the field be also-rans as they won't be able to make this work as much as the top teams would?
11. blown wheel hubs.
Why?
12. active DRS.
What would that be? And also, why?
