Yes, certainly. And they have been from the very beginning.

Possibly the Honda works team in a distant future?

I hope not. That takes too much money and Honda is always thinking about quitting the sport.

Marko urgently needs Tsunoda to move up to F1 to keep Honda in the sport.
I think it is the main priority now in RB

They will. I think. He is looking quite good in F2 too. It is hard to understand him though, when he is speaking.

Just a feeling I always had as Honda always go out of their way to include SAT in their updates.

It's thanks to the wise minds of Tost, Berger, and Tanabe and the history of respect they have had. It was a stark change from Boullier and McLaren.

it looks like they signed a bigger marketing agreement with them. Since 2018 AT is actually "Honda's Team" in the partnership. Majority of their honda F1 team merchandise has AT on it.

This Behind the Scenes insight is only available on the Japanese version of the website:
https://ja.hondaracingf1.com/insights/b ... und03.html
The focus is on battery development and the challenges of Honda developing their own battery system. Honda continues to develop the battery system and has been working around the Covid restrictions on ensuring team communication for remote employees doesn't hinder battery development. Only a handful of employees are able to physically be in the workplace developing the batteries, and communication technologies and an increased focus on improving English language competency has been key areas during the Covid era.

For those interested in Honda's past development of their PU KERS, battery storage, ERS from the time they were working on the RA1089, the following PDF is very insightful. It talks about the numerous systems and layouts they had to adapt after having a number of systems denied by the FIA, but also later allowed after Honda requested consideration. Many lessons learned then likely weren't forgotten, and maybe some had to be re-learned as well.

Mind you, these are from Honda's 3rd Era of Formula 1 but many learnings made then may still apply now. Here are the best bits of the PDF:

That's a very good way of representing it in graphic form. To see it making a cars length of difference gives it a real 'feel' of what is being gained. Just figures are not so easy to visualise.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

That battery location always seemed like an odd choice.
