In an extensive interview with one of Honda's top execs (cant find it anymore, maybe it was even translated in this thread, not sure) he made it 100% clear honda is not going to change it's mind. His demeanour and repeated denying of any such possiblity made me believe such a turn of events really will not happen, so I don't even hope for it.

With Aston Martin out of the picture next year, Honda has a chance to really shine. Honda marketing better take advantage of it in the US and Europe.

All credit to Honda for being the only engine manufacturer not to incur any penalties this year and on achieving a second win with us this season.
