1. Abolish all free practices.
2. 1 lap quali.
3. Cost restrictions.
4. Simpler and not strict technical rules.

Why is that? They have 4 hours to prepare 2 hours long race. Imagine playing 2 frendly games in football with opponent before playing real one. Nonsense.

Football teams dont do training throughout the week for the match then? They just go home after the match and turn up again a week later at the next?

Cause i thought they go and practise for the next match throughout the week, likely longer than 4hrs in total just for 90mins - i must be wrong.

Why on earth freeze engine development from 2021?? It's the best part of the V6T engines...i love how manufacturers bring updates every now and then and get better and better!
The 2007-2013 era of frozen V8s was the worst era of Formula 1 in terms of engines! Costs will go down but engines are a core part of Formula 1 development! :(

First they were talking of increasing power and fuel flow to make better noise...now development freeze?? What's going on with the 2021 rules? They can't decide what they want and i don't see them finalizing the rules by October! :?

Another problem for me is that weight needs to go down by at least 50 kilos i'd say! We all know that the only way of doing this is by refueling...we are still stopping for tires so i don't see why refueling is a bad idea? The car could carry 50 kilos of fuel so 1-stop strategies could work that way and by having a lighter car Pirelli can also use softer compounds and make cars even faster!

And if they want to bring the midfield closer to the top 3 teams one way is to reduce simulator work and practices together with other restrictions in car development! One practice session is enough on Friday and i'd be more than happy to see a sprint race using reverse grid order of the championship standings on Saturday followed by Qualifying for the Sunday race! 2 things... 1) currently the 2021 wheels will have covers so it wont be that sort of laser spinner thing from the image and 2) Indycar/WEC/GTs have had identifiers for years to help crowds at the track.

The way the downforce cap will work for WEC is the chassis homologation rules - they can only aero 1 update in the 5 years the car is homologated. F1 brings new aero to every race, it'd be impossible to police unless they limit aero updates through the season.

Ok but I was proposing a completely different approach to WEC, if you read my post F1 teams could still bring as many updates as they want, while they keep within DF limit at the constant speed check
