Really don't hope this will come to F1, it's too gimicky.
Keep that in formula E
2 things... 1) currently the 2021 wheels will have covers so it wont be that sort of laser spinner thing from the image and 2) Indycar/WEC/GTs have had identifiers for years to help crowds at the track.
I know, but it doesn't make it better for me.
It's okay to talk about how to identify the cars, but it shouldn't be placed inside the wheels, it's F1 not Tron legacy.
Rear wing endplates would be a better choice IMO

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

For me, this is a positive rule change (assuming you get free tyre choice now).

So what will happen (if it is accepted)? Will it revert to start on your qualli tyre or free choice?

Not necessarily a good thing... "Two teams blocked reverse grid qualifying races plan for 2020 – Brawn". The teams have been a roadblock to what most of us think are pretty commonsense changes but they've also blocked some pretty dumb suggestions, especially since Liberty took over.

"But we were just asking for three races to try this format. If it didn’t work, put our hands up."
The three races they opted for would have worked for them regardless, as they all have long straights that lead into a slow corner, making overtaking much easier, especially on the slower cars.

Not sure if this is in the right place, but a teaser of the what I assume to be the final 2021 rules has been revealed on f1.com. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... sfMO8.html

Moustache man said "... ultimately eliminate the environmental impact of the sport...."

So, they're going to announce the cancelling of F1 from 2021 onwards?
