Thought it might be worth talking about vettels failed overtake on Ricardo
Now the dust has settled

Vettel had dirty tyres after running off line and going deep previous corner

Maintened inside line but at a compromised angle.

Racing a car that is better at corners than it is on the straights.

Vet could have easily stayed behind until the start finish and tried again.


So my view is that vet should never have attempted the move Danny was always going to turn into that space he was slightly ahead
Vet should have known he might have less grip than normal although I suspect that didn't make a huge difference.
Was lap one so he had plenty of time to wait it out as he was in a faster car overall
