In the worst case, 2020 downforce levels require more than 1km straight to overtake and bad following in corners. And the 2019 tyres will blow under the pressure.

Plus it used to be an exciting corner... now it’s just easy flat out... aka boring.

the idea is that they can tow through it, to make it like a straight, so there is actually quite a long flat-out section

This track is over hyped. It is so tight I expect zero overtaking and anything but the main straight. I expect qualifying to be immense though.

CM.com Circuit Zandvoort officially received the Grade One license on 7 July.

In the past year, the Dutch Grand Prix captured a large number of things on video for a documentary entitled “Back on Track”. On August 26, we have launched part 1 of this documentary that we have produced in-house. It shows how CM.com Circuit Zandvoort was prepared in record time for the arrival of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix.

The Dutch grand prix is scheduled for september 5th 2021, apparently with visitors. Hopefully covid is low by then due to seasonal low spread in summer or because of vaccin.

Let's hope so! I imagine (rightly or wrongly) elite sports will be quite high up the list for any vaccination so most people connected with F1 may have been vaccinated. As for the general population country to country- probably a coin flip!

Nice to watch. Very technical, very flowing, but very narrow too so I am expecting little overtaking. Not that I mind, I am one of those fans still entertained by just drivers pushing even if there is no overtaking.
