F2001 Launch Edition question

Post

Hi everyone. I bought a F2001 Launch Edition model (Hotwheels) a couple of days ago. But I find something strange. My model has a high nose, but I googled F2001 what has a 'droopsnoot' nose. My question is if my model is not delicate enough, or F2001 was revised the nose after the launch. If someone knows, please explain this, bucause I am confused a lot. Thank you so much.
Here is some photos of my model and real F2001.

reason is easy, it's the "F1 Ferrari F2001 Michael Schumacher 1/18 Launch Edition",
and not the actual model for the 2001 race car.

It's just the 2000 racecar with the 2001 launch spec livery.

Thank you very much. But I still have a question, why Ferrari put 2001 livery on F2000? Does it mean Ferrari used F2000 with F2001 livery for the launch, then Ferrari revised the car with 'dropsnoot' nose. Looking forward to your answer, thank you.

no it's just minichamps themselves, Ferrari has nothing to do with this. They simply were allowed by Ferrari to sell it like this under the label 'launch edition' so that they can immediately sell models before the first GP was under away.
later on, they (minichamps) worked on the correct model and sell it 'correctly'.

I am much obliged to you for your answer. What I understand is this model has never existed, only for the business. And the 'launch edition' means the model was applied to the new livery .

Simply put, your model, in this case a hotwheels one, is simply a F2000 with a F2001 livery.
Indeed the F2001 never looked like this. The model is the F2000, painted with the F2001 livery.

It was sold as the F2001 Launch Edition so that, let's say, from January 2001 till March 2001, businesses could sell Ferrari models to fans.
Let's say that then, from March 2001 after race 1, there was the 'real' F2001 model which looked like the real car.

Again, just so that 'they' could sell merchandise, they simply sold 2000 Ferrari models with a 'more or less accurate' 2001 livery.

Here is the other model. Ferrari 248 (Michael Schumacher - Germany GP), 1:18 Hotwheels. Hope you like it. :D :D

Yes, Ferrari launched the car with the 2000 year nose (and front wing) fitted.

In the early 2000's, Ferrari always launched their new year's car with the previous year's nose and front wing.

Edit - My mistake, in 2001 Ferrari presented the car with the 2000 front wing but with the correct nose. So Minichamps have indeed tried to recreate this detail, but may have made an error.

Haha, I compared this photo with my car, and took a long time to think, but the consequece was fruitless. Until your words confirmed my guess what was Hotwheels made something wrong.
Here is an absolutely right place to know F1. :D :D Two kind person answer my weird question.
Thank both of you again. :D
