New testing livery for Honda.

Davidson's helmet is the only thing to suggest it's a Super Aguri not RA107 :)

modbaraban. the times are being recorded as all super aguris.
so not sure about rossiter, whether he is testing for honda or aguri. ant is obviously testing aguri, seeing as though it has the logo on the car!!

and the black colour was often to hide aero details, but whats to hide with this peice of ---.?

Pretty amazing really. 12 months away, first time in this car and straight on the pace.

I think I hear McLaren backing up a dumptruck full of money to the back of the Ferrari garage now? :P

the cars are only 2 seconds off the ones with TC, which is very good since the 2007 cars are not built for no TC.

I think the difference will be very small in the 2008 season.

I have to agree with LoudHoward. 12 months off, first morning back and he is only 0.04 seconds slower than the regular Mclaren test driver.

Very impressive!

They say he had or has some problems with the steering wheel, which is new, maybe beacuse of the new electronics (?):

Thanks modbaraban for the pictures of MS, it's interesting to see him back in an F1 car, some of you who have read my posts realize 'interesting' is the hightest praise I offer. Some may have understood that I accept the good and bad of individuals. No one wears a white hat. No one wears a black hat. We all wear a grey hat of various shades. I dislike Hero worship
but admire individual acheivement, everyone does there job to the best of there ability, education, motivation and luck. To me, most F1 drivers are just men going to work, some do it OK, some are good, some are excellent. Excellent is my 'interesting'. I am very sure that many of you make efforts (or will ) at work every bit as admirable as an F1 'pilot.'

That's way off topic but it relates to seeing MS test. I can't help but wish MS was still racing. Not in F1; he conquered that, but in sportscars. I often think of Graham Hill who won the Triple Crown, WDC/LeMans/Indy. I remember Pironi went on to race speed boats. I think of Jack Brabham, an interesting driver that won the WDC 3 times and even in his last season at 44 years, took 1 win, 3 podiums and the rest of that season wasn'nt indicative of his continued abilities as he had 6 retirements, most mechanical. Once he used a tire iron and pretended to shuffle along like an old pensioner. I will enjoy watching MS test this year. Probably MS could race for many more years just as Jack Brabham did. I noticed when JB retired, he retired, only dabbling a few times over the next 10 years. I wonder if MS will do the same? I would find it very interesting to see him race again. I will enjoy watching him test.

Schumi we aren't missing you :)

MS sitting back in a F1 car... mmm :-k

I´m starting to think that he retired because of the wrong cause.

He still wants to drive... but he doesn´t want to be defeated my youngsters so... mmm I don´t know :-k

I would be a nice thing to watch him trying to win triple crown, Le Mans would be an easy task for him, he just needs some "mechanical" luck and a good Peugeot or Audi and some 2 endurance drivers.
Then Indy should be a piece of cake, he defeated 2 rivals that won that race.
