The cars will see 3-4hrs of sunlight per race weekend at most.. not sure if UV damage will be an issue to be honest.
Having said that, a glossy thicker weave CF-composite would look awesome!

It reminds me of the Castle Anthrax : A SPANKING! A SPANKING!

Also. Virgin Manor is better than Manor Virgin because anyone based in Sheffield (like the team) will know that Manor Virgins don't exist ...

Manor GP, doing it the Yorkshire way : Fuelled by builder's strength tea and constructed from Sheffield steel ...

Watch out on the starting grid, there'll be carnage as it comes ploughing through ;)

I think theres a process out there for the carbon fiber look
It is a design "floated" onto a liquid in the form of a film
then the part is submerged and the film follows the contours.
it is absolutely unreal, not to mention weightless.
afterwards a urethane or epoxy based clear is applied over
it all. it could really come in handy if some pieces needed
a little aero adjustment at the last minute.

Yes this has been around for many years. The process goes by many names! It is commonly used for applying graphics to sculptural designs such as helmets, guitars, motorcycle cowlings etc.

You are correct that the pattern is very light (just ink in fact) - but of course there is the mass of a protective clear coat to consider.

That, and it's a lot more involved than just applying or peeling off a sponsor's sticker at a moment's notice (Brawn GP, Renault 2009  )

so very unfortunatelly
Mr.Hunt ,son of the late James Hunt did quit Motorsports already ,he would have been
a perfect fit for that Team logo ...
I remember J.Hunt wearing a embroidered logo on his Mclaren Overalls reading:
SEX-breakfeast of champions- could anyone imagine something like this todays?-compared to this even Montoya looks a bit pale...
