According to AMCO's website, they claim to be a partner of SGI, Mentor Graphics and MSC Software. Ive done some digging and according to each of their website, AMCO is a reseller.

MSC and Mentor are both software companies, and with SGI being involved in high end IT infrastructure solutions

It's a pitty they didn't get on the grid. Stephan would have been F1's new Paul Stoddart :). Also, I think it wouldn't have been such a bad package with Toyota's car, and the recruted renegades like Coughlan. Honestly I don't think Villeneuve would have shined ( too rusty - look at Schumacher ), but Nakajima might have had a chance at points, maybe even podiums.

come on ,nakasan did not score a lot of points with williams ,did he? compared to rosberg he was hopeless .
At least MS was directly following this very Rosberg in his rusted state he is currently..it would have been quite a challenge for them ...but for sure they would have had the benefit of a top car,in fact they would have been the sole outfit capable of running near the points of the newcomers. But ...stefanovic can only blame himself.

Stefanovic was was waste of time from day one. It takes an inept and dumb team principal like John Howett who wasted half a billion $ per annum to put someone like Stefanovic even near an F1 grid.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

Re: Stefan GP

really whats up with that 'team'? It is all fake, why else would you use USF1's CAD f1 car as an part of your advertising boards(see the pics where he has the agreement) and why would you decide to put the ferrari F60 on the background of your site? Those people are dumb, really thinking they make an chance etc. The only chance he got is buying USF1 stuff, but i doubt there wont be much going to serbia apart from a few drawings... None of the former staff of USF1 wants to go to a company that has proven to be nothing more then an stupid dream.

New site - new logo.

http://www.stefangp.com/

On a 3D doodle of a car, one can see that they've finally managed to get tyres, but unfortunately only the rear ones, mounted on expanded front rims (on both axles).

The most interesting thing is the front suspension, that has lower wishbones connected only to upright, while the rear suspension has neither pushrod or pullrod.

When you click on "Drivers 2010" it says:
SGP talked to 12 potential drivers for the 2010 season. Here is a line-up of the candidates. Some are very experienced drivers, and some youngsters. Click the pictures for more information.
click
Jacques Villeneuve, Narain Karthikeyan, Kazuki Nakajima, Pastor Maldonado, Bertrand Baguette, Sebastien Loeb, Ralf Schumacher, Christian Klien, Karun Chandhok, Takuma Sato, Adrian Valles
There's even a pic of the team members celebrating with a trophy it never won, because it never existed or raced.

Under link "Partners" you get image of Ferrari pitstop :?

Obviously, there's a contest to win trip to Serbian GP, showing part of Monte Carlo circuit if I'm not mistaken.

Let's not forget that logo on the site contains small black letters while the ones on pics are red caps.

@ manchild

RE: Monaco pic - the prize to the contest is not a trip to the Serbian GP but to the first Grand Prix of the SGP team. I suppose they plan to make their debut in Monaco :)

RE: 3D model - that must be a model from a racing sim. Apparently not a very good one, someone used the third party (incomplete) suspension from a single keel car #-o

PS: the more I look at this madness, the more it reminds me of Kusturica's movies.
