What do you think of the prospect of a USGP 2012 at Austin Texas

Good thinking. Place has good infra structure and nice climate in winter.

Not good as it has no motor sport tradition in the US.

I could deal with that.

If the following was real, not only would I proudly have them as a sponsor for my nation's grand prix, I'd proudly accept their sponsorship of my life.

Maybe, but as far as F1 is concerned,it's about the $$, not the brew...and a LOT of people do drink InBev's products whether we do or not. Another way to reach an audience.

I find the thought of MrE guzzling a freezing Colt 45 or three in the Texas-heat xtremely appealing.

With a race date of November, the progress isn't too bad as of now. I think we'll have this race this year. As soon as the buildings are up and the circuit is shaped there isn't much left do to except lay down the asphalt and pretty it up.

I would love to attend this race.

The 5 other teams need to make camp outside with some rednecks.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

The fallacy in that statement is that there won't be any rednecks there! Fuel injection and CF is beyond their scope of comprehension.

Anyways... :)
