That 45/55t split is a red herring. It might well be valid when static, but it is a load of bunkum as soon as the car starts moving. The acceleration, brake balance and aero forces render the static weight distribution meaningless.

I thought the weight distrubution was gonna be 43/57???

Ive been thinking, after looking at a couple of pics of testing last year, remember the Red Bull had that bulbus thing with the stay wires attached to the wing end plates, we now know the end fesult of that.

Indeed, it is worth considering that the track has considerably changed since qualifying tho, much more rubber laid down.

It sure would be nice to see him get a race seat tho.

It sure would be nice to see Guerrieri get a race seat tho. Yeah. Guerrieri. The guy that slapped Ricciardo twice.

And Da Costa?

This guy blitzed F3, and is now spanking Di Resta by 1.3 seconds.
Of course Di Resta will have been doing other programmes, but the marker laid down by Costa is mighty impressive.
More could have been done.

There are several talented drivers on that test. Ricciardo have been 3 tenths quicker than Webber in Qualifying, da Costa and Gutierrez are very close to the times from FI and Sauber respectively. I'm looking forward to see what Maldonado can do with the Williams, his laps on the Hispania were almost two seconds faster than Senna and Klien!

Not quite. That's an RB5 not an RB6. The RB6 seems to carry its nose much higher.

Can I just point out that Pastor Maldonado's laptime in the HRT was almost 1.5 seconds clear of the fastest times that car was doing during the weekend? Also, completing almost two race distances is very demanding in itself - much more so in the HRT!
