Williams FW34 Renault

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The car under the sheet looks like the FW32.

With the car in the bay I don't know, the engine looks like the Cosworth, then it's the FW33.

So no sneak preview here I guess. (But why stage this..., maybe the inletbox is Williams not engine manufacturer..?)
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Just after I saw the pictures ESP posted I saw a tweet of Scarbs stating that it is actually the R34.

Airbox already is different, previous years car had a longer cut out there.

The Car in the left bay at the beginning of the Micheal Johnson interview has its rear brake calipers in a different place to that of the one in the right side bay.

The air box is defiantly from the fw33 .

Get real, he said no such thing. He said:

It seems @SkySportsF1 just showed a clip at Williams with the new car in view, any one got a screen shot? via @ESPImperium

And Ted Kravits said later that night that it was a nice airbox.

LOL It's the same airbox they had last year, and if it was the FW34 the Cosworth engine wouldn't fit in it.

Yes it would be legal, the snowplow would be legal too.

The blue engine cover does not refer to the airbox, it refers to the blue chrome alloy header cover that is visible on the engine. This is a feature of the Cosworth, not the Renault. Were it in focus you would even see the word COSWORTH embossed on the cover.

Do we have anymore shots of this car? A link to the video will suffice.

It's the car they use to practice pitstops, not the FW34
