Sidepods can be changed even when side crash stucture is refined, the only requirement is that the new design have to again pass new side crash tests. Mercedes did that last season.

Lotus also refined sidepods last season but without the need for new side crash test because they didn't change the crash structure AFAIK

May have been a joke, but looking at this radiator it seems to fit their new sidepods and isn't an orientations used in F1 so far. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what it looks like under the skin and the crash truly was an inspiration.

I feel they are hiding something on the bow of the splitter.
The radiators are puzzling me, can't wait to see the side pod covers off.

That's not true. Sidepods can indeed be changed, but in order to create a Sauber-like sidepod, ALL the internal packaging has to be changed massively. This might require a new chassis.

I am curious to see how many miles that car make without breaking down. For the rest, looks like as good as it can be.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I disagree, it looks good.

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but the front of the chassis is very odly shaped. At the front bulkhead the chassis actually raises a small bit suddenly.
