A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Maybe marketing trick from Tony Fernandez.

Has BP ever sponsored in F1 or be a fuel provider?
So far I know Total, Petronas and Shell are the fuel providers at the moment

Current logo features two shades of green and white plus yellow.

Omnicorse also claims that Caterham has followed McLaren and Ferrari’s lead in designing its 2014 car around innovative pull-rod front suspension.

I didn't believe they would waste time and resources on something that baffled the mighty Mclaren when they have enough to master this year.

The Caterham nose is like a long tube-like structure, with the shape flaring out as it meets the front bulkhead. Then a simple a vanity panel forms the aero shape above. Two small narrow spaced pillars mount the front wing.

I believe that will only be GP2 sponsorship, thanks to Rio Haryanto. I think Total will still provide the fuel.
