A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The sidepods look no different. Are people sure the new paint scheme creates an optical illusion? Also I thought teams couldn't change their paint schemes too drastically?

The coke bottle at the rear is much narrower. Look at the side on shots beneath the Renault sticker. Car seems to be handling much better with less steering input through the corners. A direct comparison would require Kobayashi's opinion.

ITs always been like that, rly rly fat at the front almost no floor left and then a huge coke bottle.

Now that's technical.

As a matter of fact, it might make the car faster as less stickers means less weight -> less weight = more speed. Makes sense.

The new floor on Lotterers car didn't work as they liked. They switch back to the old floor to FP3

The strake beneath the wing looks very complex.

Did they run this new all singing all dancing front wing then? If they did it didn't make too much difference.
