Red Bull RB13 TAG Heuer

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

no exterior RB pics?
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I really thought the same.
Compared to the other teams, where a lot of pics can be found!

it seems the side winglets (surrounding the sidepods on the front) are gone altogether?!

I think the notches beneath the mirrors will be the attachment points for a new sidepod vane/winglet, different from what we've seen during testing.

Not only did they not add any wings or flicks like the W08, but they took the sidepod turning vanes away..

I doubt they would just remove the turning vanes from the car. They probably haven't been attached to the car yet.

You can see on the picture above that below mirrors there are mounting points for sidepod turning vanes. But they are going to be significant different to what we saw in testing.

What are you talking about here? The car is not yet completely assembled on this pics...

If you look very closely, you'll notice they also took the nose cone away  .

They are going to be there once the car is fully assembled. They are packaged separately for transport.

I think you are right, compare where the bargeboards attach in this picture (below) from testing.

There are definitely something different (attachment points) happening underneath the mirrors.

My apologies, the mount points are different to testing though (further inboard)
