Looks like they're not running complete inner covers yet either - easier for adjustments in early testing I suppose.

Running last year's box for the first test so they get reliable running? I find it strange though they wouldn't want to put some mileage on a brand new gearbox concept before they got to performance running next week.

Aluminium gearbox will stay for the full season. No carbon case for 2018.

With the minimum weight being so high, is it even a big deal about the carbon gearboxes? I wouldn't think it would be as huge as when the cars were 605kg minimum...

The FW pylons have one McLaren style slot in them.

This diffuser is almost a copy of the mercedes. Looks like Paddy took a lot of IP to williams.
