Im wondering how much input Kimi brought to Hinwill. He was doomed at Monza and could have known some basics of the Ferrari 2019 contender. I think they buy lots of components from Ferrari anyway

I don't know what he could have brought that was not apparent by looking at the car. He is after all going to a team that has the Ferrari engine, so there is no doubt much 'wandering' between the two bases.
One test is worth a thousand expert opinions

Just the rear suspension, PU and gearbox.
There is always a way, and it usually doesn't work.

Well now that’s officially an Alfa, we can expect them to share as many parts with Ferrari as possible (it’s just good sense - see RB/TR):

Great news imo - love to see the original world champions back in the sport.

Someone says Fiat's investments will be about 100 million € , so total budget will be ~ 250mln . Good chance to become № 4 in championship 2019 =D>

The chassis has to have the team name included in it I think.

If you are referring to Mercedes' car naming, their chassis numbers for all their cars always starting with a W (from Wagen I presume) or for instance a S for stationewagen. I myself had a W115 and a S204 for a while (a '71 200d and a '09 C320CDI-AMG)

Latest Mercedes chassis name was "Mercedes F1 W09 EQ Power+", not just W09. Constructor was "Mercedes" and the team name was "Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport"

I know they have always been named like that. I was just pointing out the Chassis name doesn't have to contain the team name.

You sure about that. The car was named that for sure. But the chassis was just the W09 wasn't it ?

Oh but the rule is that you have to race your own chassis. So it hasn't got to have the name, but you must be the manufacturer. This was the case with FI last year. The team had to be named FI because the manufacturer was FI, not Racing Point. That the car was named VJM didn't matter.

This year the team will be called Alfa Romeo, so a little plaque in the car must read "manufactured by Alfa Romeo"
