Red Bull RB15

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The mainplane is clearly protruding past the endplates. Is that even legal?
Mainplane can't/doesn't but the SGS (slot gap separator) can/is

Ok. Picture quality is not great but that appears to be the case. Thanks

If you look very closely it is only the part that separates the main plane from the end plate that is protruding. There is a gap between the main plane and the end plate where vents are allowed and that bracket piece with the slots is what is protruding.

They prepare for the events with a broken front wing and a puncture on the front right wheel and then on the left rear as you can see in the below tweet.

With a car starting at the back, you have to train this stuff ;-)

I see it as the end plate is recessed behind the main plane.

Front wing angle looks quite steep in this picture compared to almost flat RW, anyone agrees? They didn't even remove any elements from it. Unless it's a dummy.

It doesn't seem logical anymore. If what they are saying that they now have a comparative power specs to other manufacturers, they should be bringing little bit more downforce to the car. Something is still being kept as secret.
Isn't it because Red Bull can retrieve more downforce from the floor so they're able to run less wing?
At the end, at least for FP1, they chose to run the Spa spec rear wing.

How exactly is it trimmed?! Its the same one with 5 elements just with adjusted angle of attack to align with the low DF rear wing.
