They do say imitation is the biggest form of flattery right. I wonder how much engineering they had to really do. Probably hired the RP guy who was able to deduce the designs from photos!
Uh, what?
The W10 introduced these ears last year. The chassis ears on the W11 in Spa were just a further refinement of the design they had last year, and carried over to this year's car.

The RB15 did not have these. However, if we're talking about copying, the RB16 copied the W10 by putting them on the RB16 this year. They also copied the Mercedes "cape" solution.

Besides, these ears appeared on previous generations of cars. Just like countless other bits that all the teams use.
No Zibby you stand corrected.
RB15 had the contoured BULL HORNS.

The article clearly states that the bull horn shape of the W11 is now like the RedBull's which they already had last year.
The car (RB15) didn’t launch with them.
Thanks for the downvote by the way. I gave you an upvote for your earlier post sharing the drawing (even though we’ve already had several pictures of the ears in earlier pages), and tried to thank you for sharing something in this thread.
And then you respond by making some snide comment about Merc/RP and copying. And now this lol.
W10 SPAIN 2019 (chassis ears):
RB15 SPAIN 2019 (no chassis ears yet):
Red Bull copied the concept of chassis horns, and slightly modified them.
So to claim that Mercedes copied the idea was hilarious to me. Especially when these ears/horns have been around for years.
But yeah, thanks for hitting my initial post with a downvote and saying I was wrong, when Red Bull did not have chassis horns whatsoever all the way up to Spa, whereas the W10 had them for almost the entire season, sans the initial launch spec.
Think it’s really childish how you try to weaponize those downvotes, as opposed to just having a civil discussion, where we could've clarified our positions without being adversarial. I’m done interacting with you on this forum.
