McLaren MCL35

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Interesting that both drivers can have the new package, but Norris was using the old wing.
When? There hasn't been any running....
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

On Friday you could see the cars even if they didn’t go to the track. I think both now have the new nose.

Good. I was getting worried that the updates aren’t working as expected. Got everything crossed that it’s a suitable step forward on which to build the rest downstream on

Any flow-vis pictures from FP3? I think I saw one of the cars running with it, or perhaps I mistook it for something else.

Did Carlos and Lando run with the same config? Sainz was constant slower than Lando.

So are those teeth on the floor or on the bargeboards/ chicken wing?

These pics suggest the latter?

I can't find any better pictures but they are definitely part of the bargeboards, I think they come up from the bargeboard base and come all the way up.

Typically the floor starts further back, at he sidepods.
