McLaren MCL35

Anyone has an onboard of that 17.5 lap? I would like to see how the car behaves and compare it with last year's in some sections.

I believe they broadcasted it live, might have to rewind a stream of it

Old Wing or New Wing ??
It seems the old wing: just look to the endplate (that has a cut in the terminal part) and the outer part of the flaps...definitely old one

Still struggling a bit with heating the front tyres quickly on the softer compounds, unfortunately, they were playing with the setups this afternoon to see how much they can alleviate.
Car looks great on tyres on long runs again however.

That’s a great bit of information, thanks for sharing!

It’s great to hear that they are managing the tires well in the long stints.

Last year the car was very sensitive to winds and seems like that hasn't improved going by Lando's words.

I’m however less optimistic than yourself.
One of our strengths last year was to qualify well at the front of the midfield and control the pace and let the others chew their tyres up in dirty air.

If we aren’t getting front tyre temps up for quali then we’ll be in the pack for the race come Sunday a bit like Renault 2019 #-o

Whatever, it's testing. At least they recognize the problem. Previous statements from the team have indicated that they have great correlation. I am certain they will develop that car nicely.

Well, the nice thing is there's quite a bit more downforce to play with now so it gives a few more setup options mechanically that would have made the car unstable in the faster sections before. Watch for a few runs tommorow just before lunch, should be more representative.
