Ferrari SF21 Speculation thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The way the Salo comment is presented makes one think that in 2019 they were getting 100% out of the engine, then in 2020 they were told to turn it down to 90%, then in 2021 they'll be back to 100%. It doesn't make sense at all.

More like 105% then back to 95% and now back to 100%. Still be statement. Anyway Ferrari found loophole FIA close it thats it end of story.

"According to what has been learned from Formu1a.uno , in fact, we have also worked on the anterior macro component; an optimization of the aerodynamic parts around the structural part, not modifiable through a new crash test which would have involved the expense of (2) tokens not available because they have already been used between gearbox and rear suspension."

I really hope this means they're moving away from that hideous VJM11 style nose tip and maybe doing something creative with the cape. Maybe they'll make the cape full length now rather than the half and half thing they did with those vertical slats (not sure of their name) right behind the cape
