Williams FW43B

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Are the labels correct? I would assume that such parts would be (partially) designed together, now they're essentially testing two updates apart from each other.
Yes they are correct.

Unexpected slim rear wing! They can trim so mouch rear downforce and still keep balance for the already little downforce they have?

It’s probably being evaluated for use in Spa and Monza?

Quite an interesting comparison between Monza and Spa (I think?)

Found an interesting piece from formula1.com about the turn around we have made this year.

It's been quite a while since we have heard so much praise thrown our way.

For those who enjoy the technical side of F1, some of the areo component descriptions are cringe worthy, but hey. I'll take a positive piece about Williams any day!

So I finally finished my CFD on the Williams models, kind of... This is the 1st part of likely 3, covering the CFD methodology I've used on the car. It's a longer read, but I think you all will enjoy it!

I think that the core here is "all models are wrong..." I find this also while I was working my PhD in Agro-economy.
PS I'll share your model if it is not problem, very few people cut to the chase =D>
