Like I said to a previous post, it's a bit wet at Silverstone today.
They will be there on thursday again. Using both filming days within the week. Maximizing testing time I guess, even though filming days are somewhat restrictive in what you can do.

Thursday's likely to be wet too, unfortunately.

Well, let's see, maybe they reschedule. I don't know if rain matters too much to be honest. It's kind of like a natural flow vis paint, so in a way maybe they get something out of it. Normally you are not allowed to use aero rakes and/or flow vis paint in filming days right?

Clear cutting can also be clearly seen at the diffuser

That baldness is even more noticeable at the rear of the car. The complex diffuser has been almost completely polished off. All that's left is a simple rectangular, upside-down container. Just like the floor for the rear wheels, we will also see this with the other teams. Below you can first see the diffuser from 2020 and then again below the diffuser for 2021.

Gpblog, they’re clueless on anything outside Verstappen.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

This clip was the best part of the event for me. While watching, I realised that James Key has now designed cars that used all the 4 different PU’s in the turbo hybrid era.

Merc this year, Renault in the Toro Rosso cars... when did he design for a hybrid Honda/Ferrari?

In 2016 Toro Rosso raced Ferrari engines and in 2018 Honda.

Toro Rosso was Ferrari in 2014 wasnt it?

And Honda in 2017 when McLaren jumped out of their deal and went to Renault?

It was in 2016, they used year old Ferrari engines.

I have not found a single video where the engine could be heard at high revs. Even in the video about starting the engine, it was spinned no higher than average revs.

Where's the source of this? I tried looking on Instagram and Twitter but could not find it.

Kind of intriguing that they find the need to block the suspension setup when there's plenty of pictures online available of the MCL35's exposed front suspension layout.

Edit (MCL35 Exposed Front Suspension)

If we have pictures like this available, then certainly the other F1 teams have even better ones. Wasn't suspension geometry homologated? I was under impression that they had spent all their tokens in the rear. Doesn't really make sense, what could they have possibly changed here.
