McLaren MCL35M

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

How long ago did they change the top of the sidepod staying "high" so far back - bottom of Hilton border ??

Or is it my imagination again... :) :)

Lando has really good pace, he can really mix it up with Ferrari Alonso's Alpine is up there in race pace. Finding a gap will be on everyone's minds.

Wow! The Macca rear wing is tiny, the car should have a monster top speed! =D>

Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

It's annoying that twitter now pesters you to create an account, looks like they're desperately trying to drive the number of users up.

We should maybe ask those who embed tweets to go the extra step to copy the image links:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E-3Plr0XoAA ... &name=orig
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E-3PmysXMBM ... &name=orig
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E-3PnUWXsAM ... &name=orig
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E-3Pn4zWEAA ... &name=orig

The alternative is opening the small image in a new tab which will give this link
pbs.twimg.com/media/E-3Plr0XoAAwnMF?format=jpg&name=240x240
where one can change the 240x240 to orig (see first link) which will show the full image as uploaded instead of the thumbnail.

Well said! I’m hoping that the new cars next year look ‘cleaner’ than the current ones.

That means the only things that will "change" in 2022 is the FW, RW & Floor... How "exciting"...

I know, but getting excited about an extra louvre or fingertip is like talking about a tutu with an extra pleat in it.
Big stuff is interesting but that ⬆️ Is just ephemeral and frittering around the edges.
Apologies, but I just cannot get excited about barge boards.
