Direction of the airflow is the same? (arrow points to front of the car)

Judging by an image (inlay) from this post there's no difference to the shape either.
thank you, exactly what im getting at. I can't see any difference whatsoever.

To my eye the front ones have been modified. They are less rectangular in shape.

It looks that way but im positive that's the angle that picture was taken from that is making them look different in shape. They're curved aerodynamic devices that will look different in shape depending on the angle you look at em

I'm aware, I spend a great deal of time working in CAD, So I'm used to looking at complex shapes from various viewing angles. They still look different to me.

I think it’s an optical illusion, because the main planes didn't move at all.

It’s light. A part that was in shadow gets light on it as the car moves.

They're more triangular in one image than the other, even allowing for the different viewing angle.

There is no movement at the top of the main plane, but there is a gap between it and the end plate.
Is it possible to remove high pressure air from this gap?

Yes indeed- you can see that from how the little triangle of light gets bigger and then smaller without the car braking, which wouldn't happen if it was what is being claimed.

I can't see the difference between Sochi and Qatar on the floor detail here?

Sochi

Qatar

The small vertical tabs are a different shape, less rectangular (Sochi-spec) and more shark-toothed (Qatar-spec), one of the pictures is rear-facing, the other front facing. The pattern/layout of the tabs looks the same.
One day I would love to see a detailed sequence of CFD runs to visualise how much these minute details differ from one upgrade to another (a virtual Giorgio Piola review, if you will)

Won't stop people claiming to see it though seeing as its a video on twitter and at face value, not a random person posting because of the account name.

I agree it LOOKS like that might be what's going on but because of the angle, I'm waiting for more pictures.
