Force India VJM04 Mercedes

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

It's essentially a slightly tweaked version of last years mid-table mediocrity of a car with a slightly tweaked version of the same old boring FI livery.

Can't believe I stayed up for this!?

I'm out...

Are the sidepod intakes actually smaller? How'd they do that with KERS involved now? :?

Interesting little wings on the sidepod vanes.

That kink under the nose remains from last year. Anyone know what that does for them?

Sidepod entrances are a wee bit smaller, I agree.

I'm not sure where the exhausts are.. I'm guessing that they are at the back, but there is a spot at the front that looks highly suspicious.

Further inspection revealed an apparently new technology to create a blown-defuser effect, since it was to late to change the exhaust exits to the front of the car.

Technology... is a queer thing. It brings you great gifts with one hand, and it stabs you in the back with the other.
