Looking at some things on twitter it looks like things were moving a bit slowly, but now there are 2 chassis ready and Rubens seat fit is today.

Yes, I know and that's why I like this forum so much. There's probably no better place for reliable informations and I love to read discussions of all that passionate people here.

But going back to FW33, it's rather bit late for fitting seat for Rubens. It wouldn't be the case with new driver, but Barichello was there all the time, so they must have finished tub just recently. Correct me, please, if my speculations are wrong.

The seat they had for Rubens is from end of last season. Due to intro. of kers this yr. every oz. of car/driver weight reduction is critical. Thus all drivers incl. Rubens (who has always been quite stocky) must have gone thru intensive training regimen in order to lose max. weight. Perhaps this is reason for late seat fitting.

I'm glad FIA has risen weight limit, because, honestly, I don't want to see drivers struggling with anorexia in the upcoming years.

meant to have a seat fit with our number 1 driver on Tuesday, looks like it will be a right balls up if we don't have much stuff.
Still lots and lots of stuff missing for the car, not long now till it has to run. Lots of worried people :S

If we quoted the source it's likely that we wont get any more info unfortunately.

understood.. so it´s an undisclosed source close to the team.. thats´s fine...
the question is:
is this usual with williams to sail so close to the wind,or what is the reason for them being so late....ambitous development caused late ordering ,or cashflow related.
Teams nowadays are so well organised they should be capable not to run in USF1 type doldrums..

Murray: "And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's car as he enters the swimming pool."
James: "Well, that should put them out then."

So you mean the posts revealing the source should be deleted quickly?
