The track is pretty much the same I think. They raised the last chicane Curbs in 2005 but I'm pretty sure they went back to the old ones for 2006.

They made some changes in light of what happened at Imola but I don't know if they were permanent. http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2010/06/11/c ... illeneuve/

Martin Brundle just said they're expecting a pole time of approx 1:13.5. Given it's not an aero-intensive track I guess the gain wouldn't be huge.

Which means that Alain would have been lapped in 20 some laps?
