With Magnussen getting a 20s penalty at the end, Is it just me that is failing to see how not leaving enough space on track for a car is 4 times worse than sending team members onto a live track?

Funny no one has mentioned had Rosberg waited only 1 more lap a DRS pass most likely would've been successfully completed way before Les Combes.

Well he pushed People off track several times and moved around at the end of kemmel several times, so he only got a few seconds per offence

Oh trust me. I´ve said it like 5 times by now.

Stewards don't think like that. It makes way too much sense, and implies consistency which is of course banned.

As a Senna fan even I will admit that he intentionally took Prost out,. Thus I wouldn't recommend using that as proof that Nico did the right thing.

Troll meter still intact though.

Moved to this page, no place for Rosberg anywhere.

As far as I'm concerned it's a racing incident. Rosberg tried an overtake, failed and then just went into the corner, not trying to take full blood. He could have slammed on the brakes, but imo that wouldn't make sense. Also, perhaps he could enter the turn a bit more deeply, but not that much.
Hamilton could have taken a little bit more of a safer line, since him keeping his position was assured at least into Bruxelles.

I'm edging towards Coulthard's opinion.

Small incident, big consequences, bad karma.
Bingo.

This is exactly why the Merc bosses are fuming.
I think if he would have done that he would T-bone or run into the back of Hamilton at that left hander that was a few meter further. At least that is my experience in karting. And that's how Maldonado ran into Hamilton two years ago: Move over a bit, then realize that the exit line of that corner has now become impossible and run into the other guy.

The way to fix this was not for ROS to move over, but to brake or lift off the gas and slot in behind HAM. And for HAM to give him slightly more time to do that by leaving some space on the inside of that left hand corner. Both options would have fixed this and both would have ended with HAM in front. So this was really a silly incident (unacceptable is the right word by Toto) that both drivers should have avoided.

The aussie is proving to be really good, don´t know if Vettel deserves four tittles, but he´s a WDC anycase and Ricciardo is beating him fair and square, and constantly.
Worth pointing out at this point that Horner confirmed Vettel's car was damaged on lap 1 when he took evasive.
3th - Ricciardo - 156
6th - Vettel - 98

And Vettel is not the only one who have lost points, we could talk about FIA disqualifying Ricciardo at first GP when he was second

Don´t get me wrong, I think Vettel is a great driver, only that he´s not that good (to be 4 times WDC)

That, or Ricciardo is best driver ever

Interesting to see how fast Rosberg approaches without DRS. He also seems a lot faster than the cars behind him.

I heard something about him using a high fuel mix or engine mode or something in response to losing his place at the start. I don't remember where I heard it and have no idea if there's anything to it. Maybe someone can shed some light...
