Malaysian GP 2006

Post

Well well, Williams was going fast again this morning! And I have to say, Robert Kubica does very very well in his BMW...he clocked second time in the first free practice and it was the first time he was on the Sepang International Circuit.

In second practice Davidson set the pace again! I think it's time for that boy to get a race seat next season!

Well wrote Principessa,Anthony should get a race seat next year in another team rather than Honda. Honda's is not giving him a chance I guess

Well I think he deserves it!
I also think it was a very good choice of the Williams Team to pick Alexander Wurz as third driver! (and stupid of McLaren to let him go!) Wurz really shares his 'wisdom' with the team...and he's quick too :P. He has done it again today!

Well, I think we can only tell who will be fast tomorrow, after the third practice!

The FIA checked the rear wings of Honda and Renault this morning btw, before free practice! Might be interesting to know that they take it serious

Kimi's Macca's going to blow up, i'm sure. He raced so hard last weekend, I just can't see him running without failure for two blistering GP's.

Rubens could do very, very well as he basically nursed his car around the track because he couldn't use third.

Schumie and Nico drove very hard as well as Fernando, so we may see them down on power a little bit.

Webber and JPM may be a surprise as well. Can't wait!
I love to love Senna.

Barrichello will do well for sure! Barrichello sr. has been seen in the pits spreading the word that this will be a winning weekend for his son and that he made a very good choice leaving Ferrari for the more 'relaxed' Honda.

I actually see Massa setting the fastest time in qualifying, even though it won't really mean anything. His Ferrari was very fast in Bahrain qualifying; only a few hundredths off pole. Having a new engine will surely help, too.

Beyond that, I think the race is a tossup between Ferrari and Renault. It'll come down to strategy, just like Bahrain. Hopefully, Ferrari can come through with a win.

Honda could be in the mix as well. But until someone actually wins in a Honda, I think they remain a question mark.

McLaren will no doubt disappoint. Damn shame Mercedes can't make a reliable engine. I don't see them finding the answer in the extreme heat and humidity of Malaysia. Maybe in Europe.

It will a tough battle. With all the 'usual suspects' reporting for duty performance-wise.

you think so?? it seems like the v8's this year are really really fragile. its like you cant go hard for two races with the same engine, and have to 'cradle' it in a sense in some races. neways thats just my opinion from wat i'v heard.

i like your pick on Rubens tho...i really hope he does well (with 3rd gear this time) i'm picking both Honda's to do well actually!! [-o<
