I am biased as I am not a fan of the top team, but this is a bit ridiculous. Is there a point in watching qualifying?

When was the last time we saw teams slower than the previous year with no regulation changes?

They did OK. Honda sits in the same boat with Ferrari. Ferrari just got hit much harder. EOD

i dont know. but i think its weird.
the complains about racing point should be complains about themselfs. They did a bad job over the winter thats the reason why rp is so strong.

I have to say though that I find it amazing that Ferrari gave Mercedes a unrealistic (Due to Ferrari clever tricks) target and yet Mercedes hit it. They are out of sight due to an unbelievable team ethic. As much as it’s boring to watch you surely cannot be anything but blown away by them.

S1 is not the place to save the tyres. No high speed corners to damage them. Turn 1 & 2 flatout anyway so dont count.
Turn 1 is pretty fast, but I was referring to protecting the rear tyres in turns 3 4 and 5. So you maybe have better rears for the final 3 corners.

For me, the competition needs to step up. Too much talk of Merc dominance when this statistic is there for all to see. Great observation

Bottas lost 3 tenths in the last sector there. So a small mistake, I still think Bottas will get this

There was a rule change remember
TWO fuel flow sensors now, with measuring flow rates scrambled, only FIA knows what are its timings for measurement

That is a major regulation change, everyone struggling except Mercedes.
