WOW! Lewis doesn't know who Franz Tost is and even more hilarious is the stuff he said about Bottas!
Wait... Where? Haha. Lewis has big feet, but he tends to put one in his mouth every now and then.

I think it was a hilarious burn on Franz.

And I love it.

He's their reserve and development driver, he needs to do miles to keep his super licence, pretty standard for all reserve drivers

Really? i don't see Stoffel Vandaroone or Estaban Guetierez do that in Mercedes? or any other reserve driver do that as a pretty standard procedure to keep his super license!
He last raced in 2019 in a Williams, according to super license FIA rules he can go without driving an f1 for 3 years before needs to renew them and have the required 300 km in the bag!

here is an article about it.

So there is no justification for racing him over any other new and upcoming drivers... and if it is money then I am also sure that any new and upcoming drivers can easily pay it without any hitch!

Ted's saying there's a camera in there.

I would say they compare tyre deformation between the current and next year tyres.

Usually the wind is the issue...even if there is real rain, it will soak and then the track will dry very quickly. But I fear the wind...it may be in a magnitude that a F1 car is not drivable anymore.

Looking at FP1 timing, there is a nice race comming up in Formula 1.5: We have Mercedes, Bulls, Renault, McLaren and Torro all sandwiched in half a second =D> Plus Ferraris that may play a bigger role in the race with tire wear. [-o<

Its to check diffuser flex
In this shot of the Ferrari SF1000’s rear end you’ll note the chequered stickers mounted on the various surfaces of the diffuser. These act as reference points that can be monitored by a hi-speed camera and will indicate how much movement there is. The team will then use this information to make improvements on the construction of those surfaces.

Fred lag.

Or red Flag. Albon after having just overtaken a Alpha Tauri starts the hotlap in unbalance, misses T1 and has snap on the slippery part next to the track. Car written off.
