Whoa...great practice session...alot of cars oversteering. Quick tidbit. Honda had paid $200 000 per month for the last 18 months to that agency company to find them sponsors. what a waste. Alonso has better up his game
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Not paying too much attention to the times... 8)

Watched everything live and I still didn't get used to Renault new colours. Also the onboard cam of McLaren fooled me many times, just doesn't look like Max from within. 8)

...and didn't like the Honda scheme at all...at all... :?

great session indeed.
I was amazed by how close those times were! we should expect a very exciting Sunday! :P
Poor reliability by Renault though, and Hamilton was just... AMAZING!! i really enjoyed watching his driving.
The BMWs were bloody quick, but have you noticed how much they were jumping around? i mean comparing them to the ferraris and the mclarens, u'd think that the camera is lose or something :D

pRo you should join the IRC chat.

Alonso doesn't seem to have everything working well, but the Ferraris look genuinely fast and consistent. BMWs also very good.

My favorite for the practice has to be Super Aguri though! :D They did too well, now they're definitely going to get sued.

if i were Frank Williams, i wouldn't hesitate for a minute!
The commenter on Speed channel made a very good point: Look at Spyker... they spent millions of dollars on designing their car, and SA comes with the old honda to take 11th place.. that so unfair!! TO THE COURT SA!
P.s: STR should be sued as well, but even though they're cheating, it's not paying off that much

Everybody should join the chat..me and Joseff had a excellent chat and you get to meet grandpa Manchild...Im really hoping that Ciro goes on it..that would be a treat. But look at SA and how close they are to Honda..looking at that you know they are going to get it from Frank Williams

I'm familiar with IRC, been there since 1992. ;) First in the one and only network and then after the split in IRCnet and EFnet for some time, finally falling back to just IRCnet. Even used to be an ircop for many years, including the split as well. (ircop, not a channel op)

Quakenet never interested me and only tried it a few times before this. Now I couldn't get on to any of their servers and didn't really have the time nor interest to figure it out during the sessions. Maybe later. 8)

Please someone who can watch practices on TV join the IRC chat! It was a shame yesterday that we could just guess on track conditions, etc... Show some solidarity for F1technical!

Imagine how much slower would they be if one of 3 top drivers wasn't one of theirs?
