It might be a case

of "Nevers say Nevers" as Indy dropped from the calendar and the FFSA is saying they're going to honor their contract of organising a French GP all the way to the year 2011. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/60919 It's hard to see it could be raced anywhere but Magny next year. I do hope they get the design right for the potential new Paris circuit, though, as it'll propably be close to EuroDisney. If it turns out to be a disappointment, there'd be no end to "Mickey Mouse track" jokes - something that would irritate the locals to no end. People do funny things, underlying fears can be manifested in involuntary subliminal messages embedded in patterns, for example, so I wouldn't be surprised if the new track, when seen from an angle, looked like a certain cartoon character ... :D - Mr. Tilke (or whoever the designer is) better look at his plans from every angle before giving the go-ahead!

I'd like to see F1 Grand Prix as a part of Le Mans weekend.

- attendance
- cost cutting (having 2 events in 1)
- classic :!:

Why not?

It's quite pointess to build new Tilkedromes in countries that have such racing traditions and legendary tracks.

A new track layout may be built within the circuit.

Maybe 2 weekends in a row as a 2 week-long motorsport festivity. It would be something that France historically DESERVES to host.

Confirmed!

We should see two more Gps at Magny cours! One week ago everybody thought the stage was burried.
Certainly it helped to have a motorsport passionate as a prime minister...

18 races next season then?

Apparently USA will be off, unless they some with something...

Singapore and Valencia are the new ones, right?
