European GP 2007

Post

I create the thread, since surprisingly there wasn't any.

What a start, at lap 3 Winkelhock leads the race, and Hamilton is one lap down!

See the parking at turn one, I believe six or seven cars have end their race here...

Mad start to the race.
Doesn't anyone use the mIRC live chat site thingy anymore? I'm in there on my own!

Nothing like a bit of rain to spice things up a bit.
Luckily we had no heavy collisions in turn 1. Did you see the safety car move out of the way of a spinning STR? It then hit the crane truck.
McLaren masterstroke keeping Hamilton in the car and getting him out the gravel. Will be great to watch him coming through from the back now.
I would not be suprised if the strom comes in again. edit: rain predicted for 14:40 local time.

what a race from alonso!! Great choices all race and a great move on massa.

On the other hand, what the hell was the idea with hamilton and the stop after the red flag???? it totaly destroyed his race. it was a gift to unlap himself, then they throw it away.

Really happy for spiker

What a funny race. I liked the turn one car park

Great overtake by Alonso. Lame job by his lollipop man. I've never seen Ron so happy, he was milking that one.

First, it's not a team that decides on that. Ferrari did what was expected in such circumstances: pressure the race direction to avoid any factor that could condition Massa's race. It was the call of the race direction to do it that was a bit ridiculous when it was made: Massa was actually slower than Hamilton in that part of the race and Hamilton was chasing Fisi. Hamilton could have scored if that strange decision wasn't taken...

@FLC I guess if you win; you get to whine. Maybe if he stops, with comments that may seem like whining, he'll stop winning

Maybe he isn't whining - it might be whinging - a combination of whining and complaining

Personally I think he manipulates in a very clever fashion

EDIT - And of course; a great driver and worthy WC.

Fantastic Fernando. Hats off! I'm having a sore throat from screaming like a madman after that magnificent pass on Massa :D
