Virgin
Manor Drive, Dinnington, Sheffield S25 3QU (104 miles)
nb. Virgin's design is done by Wirth Research, Sholebroke Farmhouse, Whittlebury, NN12 8TF

Just to add: Wirth work out of Bicester, that's their registered address :-)

There's a virtual lap of Mark Webber on GPudpdates.
He took Abbey and Farm @ 285kph. Wow!

Also, the braking into a stadium section seems quite tricky, in rFactor I had to brake and turn immediately. I analyzed my rFactor lap (far from perfect but anyway), and there were 3Gs longitudinal AND lateral there simultaneously.

Where is the Virgin factory? Wirth, Manor or somewhere else?

Watch the lap again, he's using an old version of Silverstone - not the current lap.

You know, it actually looked like he used both)

Actually, I've just done a bit of research on this. The car is built at Wirth in Bicester, but the team is run from Manor in Sheffield operationally.

I would do terrible things to have my own simulator.

Too bad they mostly showed him inside of the cockpit, instead of the actual screen.

Weather forecast is looking good for those going to Silverstone:

Shame it won't rain to add some 'spice' but I'm looking forward to watching the new section in the dry to see how fast Abbey is now. Wish I was going to the circuit too... :(
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

So distance from track is from Sheffield, that's were the kit will be, and where the cars live between races.

Sorry guys, off topic a bit.

Why would they relocate the pit straight of the track starting from next year?

Senna dropped in favour of Yamamoto.

He's hardly set the world on fire. But I doubt anyone could piloting the Hispania.

Bingo, and that's what I've got on my list above.

I have to say this strikes me as purely a financial thing. HRT may well have funding problems (hardly a secret that the team at the back might have these issues).
Interesting that this is being done for the British GP though.
